Friday August 14 2009

This morning was a big sluggish rolling out of bed I am sick with my yearly summer cold......and Asher(gave him some baby tylenol to help with his fever) and Mark are catching it as well.....But gotta get up and start our day!

Breakfast: Eme-Bowl of Apple jacks cereal/milk/vitamin
Burgandy-Honeybun/milk/vitamin

Got girls dressed, brush teeth, comb hair

So today is our 3rd day of school already...this short week went by fast! so far so good things are going well. Due to Burgandy not having all her books and materials until yesterday afternoon (when UPS delivered them) we are a little behind on a few lessons so we will work through the weekend to play catch up and get back on track for a fresh new week monday morning! thats one of the great features of home schooling you can school anytime of the day and any time of the week as long as you get in your states required hours for the week! and since this week was only 3 days starting on Wednesday we wont meet the required 20 hours for Kindergarten this week anyway! they let the first week slide.

Mark ran to Lowe's with Asher while I was schooling the girls to get the stain and laquer, and more wood screws and stain brushes to complete the desk.....I cant wait till its all finished.......hopefully he will apply the stain and last finishing touches this weekend and it will be ready to go first thing Monday morning!
