So this morning I got up at 6am jumped in the shower and got ready.....While I was in the shower i had Mark get the girls breakfast, and they got themselves dressed and then they brushed there teeth and I did there hair.... Eme went with me to the store to get a few things we needed for lunch today and tommorrow. we also grabbed some cards for Aunt she-she's b-day, Mark's b-day and Bones b-day all within the week! and also some batteries for Asher's mobile I swear we need stock in batteries how fast they get used up they dont seem to last very long anymore!

Once we got home we put the stuff away...and then I made myself a mocha and we started right into school...A tad behind schedule this morning since I had a few errands to run first! oh well the beauty of homeschool......I cant believe its already our 5th day of school!

Sunday August 16 2009

So today we didnt have church. Our church was going to the mountains for a picnic today instead of having traditional service at church... We weren't able to attend so it was wierd to not have to get up and get all ready for church this morning.....

Kayla came home from being out at my dad's today..she starts school tommorrow...A big Junior already. So once she got hoem I took her to get some things she needed to start school with.

Today was Sizzlin Sunday Bar=b=q day! we bar-b-qed T-bone steaks and corn on the cob and had mashed potatoes and salad!

I worked on getting materials together and lesson plans for tomorrow! Mark worked more on the desk, and started staining it... its almost finished how exciting!

Mark works at 3 pm today!

Me and the girls and Asher just hung out and finished laundry and took care of some business! another productive day! the weekend flew by and now back to the daily grind of school.....

Saturday August 15 2009

So this morning we got up..... and decided we were all going to head to Needles to take the recycling in to the recycling place because it hadnt been done since before I went in the hospital back in feb...needless to say a whole lot of cans, & plastic......and also go to the Dollar tree... ( I love this place they have the best stuff in thier teacher corner) so I showered and got ready, then got the girls ready and Asher.

While I was in the shower Mark made breakfast sandwiches...english muffin, spicy sausage patties, hashbrown patties and egg. (Yummy)

After breakfast we finished getting ready and off we went.........We were suppose to get some make-up school stuff done because of the materials arriving late but we decided to do it tommorrow and take the day off from school...Mark was also suppose to work on the desk so that it would be ready by Monday morning but he decided to go with us as well...so it may be pushed back another day so hopefully by Tuesday it will be ready!

beofre we could head out of town we had to get gas.....Smith's has the cheapest gas in town and that happens to be where we get gas. and I just love that since I grocery shop there for every so much you spend you get so many cents off your gas with your smith's card! love it we got .15 cents off the dollar this time around! hey every cent adds up when you are filling up your gas tank......

off to Needles!

Got some great stuff at the Dollar tree.....as always.....lots of school stuff for our homeschool!

Today is Cinema (S) Saturday so we do make your own pizzas and its Movie night! but Mark has to work at 4pm. So it will be just me and the kiddos...tonight it will be pepperoni, black olives, and pineapple, and of course pizza breadsticks.....(yummy) I love pizza especially homemade ones......

We decided to skip movie night tonight the girls wanted to just watch some tv time instead...we couldnt pick a good DVD to rent......oh well does that mean we have seen way to many movies when you go to look and you have seen them all! or at least the ones you wanted to see......

Today was also laundry day! we seem to have quite a bit this week so do to being gone most of the morning and afternoon I may need to run over into tommorrow with laundry! oh well.....the laundry wont mind as long as it gets done right! ( can I just say that I dont mind laundry so much its just the dreaded folding and putting it all away I hate) and with kids it just seems to multiply each pile......

chatted with my mom on the phone for quite a while.......

I am not feeling the greatest with this little cold, so I think I may hit bed pretty early tonight or at least lay in bed and watch a movie or tv. Mark wont be home until super late being its saturday night the Brewery is usually pretty busy and it makes for a late and long night!.I have been having major migraines lately on top of the cold and it hurts pretty bad! (I dont like feeling this way at all)

Friday August 14 2009

This morning was a big sluggish rolling out of bed I am sick with my yearly summer cold......and Asher(gave him some baby tylenol to help with his fever) and Mark are catching it as well.....But gotta get up and start our day!

Breakfast: Eme-Bowl of Apple jacks cereal/milk/vitamin
Burgandy-Honeybun/milk/vitamin

Got girls dressed, brush teeth, comb hair

So today is our 3rd day of school already...this short week went by fast! so far so good things are going well. Due to Burgandy not having all her books and materials until yesterday afternoon (when UPS delivered them) we are a little behind on a few lessons so we will work through the weekend to play catch up and get back on track for a fresh new week monday morning! thats one of the great features of home schooling you can school anytime of the day and any time of the week as long as you get in your states required hours for the week! and since this week was only 3 days starting on Wednesday we wont meet the required 20 hours for Kindergarten this week anyway! they let the first week slide.

Mark ran to Lowe's with Asher while I was schooling the girls to get the stain and laquer, and more wood screws and stain brushes to complete the desk.....I cant wait till its all finished.......hopefully he will apply the stain and last finishing touches this weekend and it will be ready to go first thing Monday morning!
